Two-hour Saturday club for 7-12 years old 2-4pm May dates 2nd, 9th, 16th and 30th June dates 13th ,20th and 27th Come and learn about stable duties, ponies, mucking out, tacking up, grooming and team work! Children must be riding regularly with us in order to book as the sessions will help to develop their experience and compliment their lessons. Sessions may incorporate ABRS rosette awards and children who have Pony Stars Challenge books can get sections signed off as they complete different activities. This is a mixed age club and children participating must be happy to be involved with the different ages who may be attending. Sessions will be on the yard and in the portacabin where necessary for activities. Spaces will be limited and are bookable a month at a time - £18 per session. Fletchers Farm Riding School Dressage Show rules

Where classes are split into junior/senior – junior riders are classed as riders who are 16 years old and under as of the 1st January 2026. All other riders will be classed in the senior category.

Whilst BD rules require numbers for competitors to be displayed, we do not currently require riders to follow this rule. Please ensure you ride to the judges car to confirm your name.

No entry will be accepted without the appropriate fee. Entries from competitors online who then have paid over the telephone or by Bacs are taken on the understanding of all parties that the competitor /and parents (if under 18 years old) have read, understood and agreed to abide by the show rules. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry, vary the order or composition of, or cancel any event in this schedule at any time. Please note that entries are non-refundable.

Correct riding dress should be worn and hat with a fixed harness to a minimum standard of PAS 015 (2011) must be worn by riders at all times.

Judged under BD, however the Judges' decision is final. Riders may be asked to perform their tests up to 10 minutes before their allocated times.

The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructors and the organiser, officials and stewards.

Please ensure that dogs are kept on a lead at all times and that you have third party liability insurance for your dog and your horse to attend the site. Your horse must be up to date with their annual vaccinations to attend and we reserve the right to request to see their passport on the day.

Please use designated warm up area only (normally the indoor school). Do not stand on the track where others are riding and cause an obstruction. Please ride responsibly observing menage etiquette. Please do not re-enter the warm up arena once you have finished your test.

No lunging allowed on the show ground and no use of the other arenas to warm up for external riders.

All lorries and horse trailers to be parked in designated area on the large tarmac area opposite the main entrance. Parking can be restricted if the show is busy so please park close to the next horse box and considerately. Do not leave a horse unattended or tied up to a lorry/trailer, and all children under 16 years old must be supervised at all times.

Please tidy hay, droppings and mess from the parking area before leaving.

Photographs of winners / placed riders may be printed and shared on our website/Facebook site and printed media such as Absolute Horse. Please email the manager if you would prefer not to have any winner/placing photos shared (manager@fletchersfarm.co.uk).

Additional info for riding school clients:

Clients of the school may use a horse for our dressage or SJ events or jumping clinics. It is expected that you will have ridden regularly with us beforehand and if jumping, have completed a number of jumping lessons or demonstrated the correct ability for the classes/clinic that you want to try. Jump shows are suitable for riders in Novice groups who have already started jumping and levels above.

Ideal sessions for children aged 4-7 years old. Come and meet the ponies, try your hand at a pony activity such as grooming or feeding and have a short arena based ride.

Two-hour Saturday club for 7-12 years old 2-4pm May dates 2nd, 9th, 16th and 30th June dates 13th ,20th and 27th Come and learn about stable duties, ponies, mucking out, tacking up, grooming and team work! Children must be riding regularly with us in order to book as the sessions will help to develop their experience and compliment their lessons. Sessions may incorporate ABRS rosette awards and children who have Pony Stars Challenge books can get sections signed off as they complete different activities. This is a mixed age club and children participating must be happy to be involved with the different ages who may be attending. Sessions will be on the yard and in the portacabin where necessary for activities. Spaces will be limited and are bookable a month at a time - £18 per session. T&C ABRS rosette awards will be an additional charge at the time iro £5.00 If your child wishes to do their Pony Stars Challenge awards – the book sets can be ordered through us at £30 Once booked for the month the sessions are non-refundable/transferable for that month, there is no obligation to continue to the next month Children must bring their own hats and gloves to handle ponies with (or book a hat from us at the time of booking the sessions) Costs: £18 per session Please note the office will contact you to confirm if there is a space.

A fun, encouraging show

Starts 09:30hrs

Class 1 Novice Cross poles (30cm max in middle) – One round against the clock.

Riders on the lead rein / assistance welcome.

Class 2 Cross poles (45cm max) – Two phase.

Assistance welcome but no lead rein.

Class 3 Novice 50cm – One round against the clock (uprights with no spreads).

Class 4 55cm – Two phase.

Class 5 65cm – Two phase.

Class 6 75cm – Two phase.

Class 7 85cm – Two phase.

Two Phase – If the rider jumps clear round the first part of the course, they ride straight onto the further fences in a timed section. Heights listed in classes are maximum heights.

Show Jumping Rules

In the event of the show being cancelled due to adverse weather conditions we will put an update onto business facebook page as early as possible.

Classes may be split or amalgamated at the organisers' discretion.

All course heights are approximate.

If this is your first show competing please note that we allow assistance or leading in the classes indicated on the schedule page. These shows are designed to be encouraging. Please choose appropriate classes for your experience and we would politely ask that you move up classes if you have won a number at a particular level or ride H/C.

Ideal sessions for children aged 4 years old and upwards, a short pony ride of approximately 15 mins round the fields or in an arena if the ground conditions require.

Time: 11.30am please arrive for 11.15 for hat fitting

Two-hour Saturday club for 7-12 years old 2-4pm July dates 4th, 11th, 18th Come and learn about stable duties, ponies, mucking out, tacking up, grooming and team work! Children must be riding regularly with us in order to book as the sessions will help to develop their experience and compliment their lessons. Sessions may incorporate ABRS rosette awards and children who have Pony Stars Challenge books can get sections signed off as they complete different activities. This is a mixed age club and children participating must be happy to be involved with the different ages who may be attending. Sessions will be on the yard and in the portacabin where necessary for activities. Spaces will be limited and are bookable a month at a time - £18 per session. T&C ABRS rosette awards will be an additional charge at the time iro £5.00 If your child wishes to do their Pony Stars Challenge awards – the book sets can be ordered through us at £30 Once booked for the month the sessions are non-refundable/transferable for that month, there is no obligation to continue to the next month Children must bring their own hats and gloves to handle ponies with (or book a hat from us at the time of booking the sessions) Costs: £18 per session Please note the office will contact you to confirm if there is a space.

Peggy's Pals - Childrens Activity

Ideal sessions for children aged 4-7 years old. Come and meet the ponies, try your hand at a pony activity such as grooming or feeding and have a short arena based ride.

45 minute sessions which include hat and boot use. Adults must walk alongside their child when they are riding.

Time: 12.15-1pm
