Fancy a holiday treat? Come and join us at Fletchers Farm for a private 30 minute hack around the farm for children aged 4 years old and upwards.
Parents must be happy to walk alongside their child whilst they are riding.

Adult Taster rides
Tues - Sundays daytimes - Adult Taster rides
This is a 20 minute led walk ride in an arena with a member of staff leading your horse.
Ideal way to try horse riding before booking formal lessons or as a present for someone.
These are informal fun sessions to come and have a go and include hat and boot use.

13/08 Intro + Pony Camp
A full day at the yard where children will be involved in catching ponies in from the fields, grooming, tacking up, feeding, stable work and games/stable management training or quizzes with a one hour ride included. Full day with a takeaway lunch included.
These days are for children who rides with us in our Child Intro groups where children have learnt to trot off the lead rein and are used to riding with other children. If you are not a regular rider please book an assessment lesson to check your childs ability to join the activity so that we can ensure a good time for all!

Come and work on your jumping skills with Kristina who is an experienced show jumping Instructor. Kristina has successfully competed in affiliated show jumping competitions & cross country events and will use her knowledge to help you work towards your goals.

Two-hour Saturday club for 7-12 years old 2-4pm Sept 5th, 19th, 26th Come and learn about stable duties, ponies, mucking out, tacking up, grooming and team work! Children must be riding regularly with us in order to book as the sessions will help to develop their experience and compliment their lessons. Sessions may incorporate ABRS rosette awards ** and children who have Pony Stars Challenge books can get sections signed off as they complete different activities. This is a mixed age club and children participating must be happy to be involved with the different ages who may be attending. Sessions will be on the yard and in the portacabin where necessary for activities. Spaces will be limited and are bookable a month at a time - £18 per session. T&C **ABRS rosette awards will be an additional charge at the time iro £5.00 If your child wishes to do their Pony Stars Challenge awards – the book sets can be ordered through us at £30 Once booked for the month the sessions are non-refundable/transferable for that month, there is no obligation to continue to the next month Children must bring their own hats and gloves to handle ponies with (or book a hat from us at the time of booking the sessions) Costs: £18 per session Please note the office will contact you to confirm if there is a space.

Two-hour Saturday club for 7-12 years old 2-4pm Sept 5/19/26th Come and learn about stable duties, ponies, mucking out, tacking up, grooming and team work! Children must be riding regularly with us in order to book as the sessions will help to develop their experience and compliment their lessons. Sessions may incorporate ABRS rosette awards ** and children who have Pony Stars Challenge books can get sections signed off as they complete different activities. This is a mixed age club and children participating must be happy to be involved with the different ages who may be attending. Sessions will be on the yard and in the portacabin where necessary for activities. Spaces will be limited and are bookable a month at a time - £18 per session. T&C **ABRS rosette awards will be an additional charge at the time iro £5.00 If your child wishes to do their Pony Stars Challenge awards – the book sets can be ordered through us at £30 Once booked for the month the sessions are non-refundable/transferable for that month, there is no obligation to continue to the next month Children must bring their own hats and gloves to handle ponies with (or book a hat from us at the time of booking the sessions) Costs: £18 per session Please note the office will contact you to confirm if there is a space.

Starts 09:30hrs
Class 1 Novice Cross poles (30cm max in middle) – One round against the clock.
Riders on the lead rein / assistance welcome.
Class 2 Cross poles (45cm max) – Two phase.
Assistance welcome but no lead rein.
Class 3 Novice 50cm – One round against the clock (uprights with no spreads).
Class 4 55cm – Two phase.
Class 5 65cm – Two phase.
Class 6 75cm – Two phase.
Class 7 85cm – Two phase.
Two Phase – If the rider jumps clear round the first part of the course, they ride straight onto the further fences in a timed section. Heights listed in classes are maximum heights.
Rosettes 1st to 4th place, more if entries warrant

Show Jumping Rules
No entry will be accepted without the appropriate fee.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry, vary the order or composition of, or cancel any event in this schedule at any time.
In the event of the show being cancelled due to adverse weather conditions we will put an update onto business facebook page as early as possible.
Classes may be split or amalgamated at the organisers' discretion.
All course heights are approximate.
Correct riding dress should be worn and hat with a fixed harness to a minimum standard of PAS 015 (2011) must be worn by riders at all times. Hats must be regulation hats under the current BHS approved centre hat guidelines.
Judged under BS Rules, however the Judges' decision is final.
The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructors or the organiser, officials and stewards.
If this is your first show competing please note that we allow assistance or leading in the classes indicated on the schedule page. Please remember horses can behave differently in the ring to normal lessons or schooling at home and if you would like assistance please ask. Competitors enter classes at their own risk.
These shows are designed to be encouraging. Please choose appropriate classes for your experience and we would politely ask that you move up classes if you have won a number at a particular level or ride H/C.
Please use designated warm up area only. Do not stand on the track where others are riding and cause an obstruction. Please ride responsibly and observe menage etiquette. Please do not re-enter the warm up arena (indoor school) once you have finished your jumping round.
No lunging allowed on the show ground.
All lorries and horse trailers to be parked in designated area which will be on the tarmac area opposite the main farm entrance. Do not leave horses unattended and tied to the lorry. Please tidy hay, droppings and mess from the parking area before leaving. Parking can be restricted if the show is busy so please park close to the next horsebox or as directed by a show steward. All children under 16 years old must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult over 18 years old.
Please ensure that dogs are kept on a lead at all times and that you have third party liability insurance for your dog and your horse to attend the site. Please only attend the site if you horse is up to date with their annual jabs – we reserve the right to ask to see your passport on the day.
Photographs of class winners / placed riders may be printed / placed onto various media including the FF website, the FF Facebook page. If you do not wish this to happen you must notify us in writing.
Entries are accepted on the provision that you have read and have agreed to the rules above.

Jumping classes can vary in length of time and therefore it is difficult to estimate exact times when riders will be able do their rounds, please allow enough time on site as these shows are informal and encouraging to allow riders to have a go.
We aim to allow a 15 minute warm up on your horse in the indoor ring before you will be expected to jump outside.
You will be expected to walk the course when it is ready on foot to learn the route and to decide how to approach your fences. You will jump in a drawn order, if you are near the front of the class you will need to warm up before the course walk and then get back on in order to do your class.
Carry a short whip with you if you are jumping.
Gloves must be worn, please wear jodphurs with a plain sweatshirt or show jacket.
