The Pony Stars non-ridden fun sessions will develop your love for ponies, build knowledge and form friendships while gaining awards on the way. Each child will have their own My Challenge Book to log their achievements with stickers and a colourful bag to keep them in. As they progress through the various challenges there will be iron-on cloth badges to keep them engaged and motivated. Pony Stars enables long-term progression with a range of activities that will develop knowledge, skills and self-confidence. Ridden skills and badges can be achieved in your lessons too. Children do not need to be doing lessons to join in and can start at any time! Tuesday evening Pony Stars Club for children aged 7-12 years old 6-7pm Welshie Wizzers (children off lead rein/Intro groups) 7-8pm Connemara Champs (children in Novice riding groups or above) Running Tuesdays weekly during term time Costs: -Introduction pack £30 - includes the book for the group, stickers, bag (plus badges as they achieve them) -Sessions are £16 per time T&C Welshie Wizzers / Connemara Champs payable the start of each half term Once booked sessions they are non-transferable/ non-refundable for that period Children can join at anytime - payments due will be discounted to reflect the sessions that are left to book for the period Children will need to bring hats and gloves for their session, please book a hat hire if your child requires one Children do not need to be riders at Fletchers Farm to attend but we must have a rider registration form for them on file to attend Tuesday evening clubs children must be dropped/collected at the indoor school gate by parents. Show Jumping Rules

No entry will be accepted without the appropriate fee.

The course will be made of a mixture of poly/schooling jumps.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry, vary the order or composition of, or cancel any event in this schedule at any time.

In the event of the show being cancelled due to adverse weather conditions we will put an update onto business facebook page as early as possible.

Classes may be split or amalgamated at the organisers' discretion.

All course heights are approximate.

Correct riding dress should be worn and hat with a fixed harness to a minimum standard of PAS 015 (2011) must be worn by riders at all times. Hats must be regulation hats under the current BHS approved centre hat guidelines.

Judged under BS Rules, however the Judges' decision is final.

The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructors or the organiser, officials and stewards.

If this is your first show competing please note that we allow assistance or leading in the classes indicated on the schedule page. Please remember horses can behave differently in the ring to normal lessons or schooling at home and if you would like assistance please ask. Competitors enter classes at their own risk.

These shows are designed to be encouraging. Please choose appropriate classes for your experience and we would politely ask that you move up classes if you have won a number at a particular level.

Please use designated warm up area only. Do not stand on the track where others are riding and cause an obstruction. Please ride responsibly and observe menage etiquette. Please do not re-enter the warm up arena (indoor school) once you have finished your jumping round.

No lunging allowed on the show ground.

All lorries and horse trailers to be parked in designated area which will be on the tarmac area opposite the main farm entrance. Do not leave horses unattended and tied to the lorry. Please tidy hay, droppings and mess from the parking area before leaving. Parking can be restricted if the show is busy so please park close to the next horsebox or as directed by a show steward. All children under 16 years old must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult over 18 years old.

Please ensure that dogs are kept on a lead at all times and that you have third party liability insurance for your dog and your horse to attend the site. Please only attend the site if you horse is up to date with their annual jabs – we reserve the right to ask to see your passport on the day.

Jumping classes can vary in length of time and therefore it is difficult to estimate exact times when riders will be able do their rounds, please allow enough time on site as these shows are informal and encouraging to allow riders to have a go.

We aim to allow a 15 minute warm up on your horse in the indoor ring before you will be expected to jump outside.

You will be expected to walk the course when it is ready on foot to learn the route and to decide how to approach your fences. You will jump in a drawn order, if you are near the front of the class you will need to warm up before the course walk and then get back on in order to do your class.

Carry a short whip with you if you are jumping.

Gloves must be worn, please wear jodphurs with a plain sweatshirt or show jacket.

Fletchers Farm Riding School Dressage Show rules

Where classes are split into junior/senior – junior riders are classed as riders who are 16 years old and under as of the 1st January 2025. All other riders will be classed in the senior category.

Whilst BD rules require numbers for competitors to be displayed, we do not currently require riders to follow this rule. Please ensure you ride to the judges car to confirm your name.

No entry will be accepted without the appropriate fee. Entries from competitors online who then have paid over the telephone or by Bacs are taken on the understanding of all parties that the competitor /and parents (if under 18 years old) have read, understood and agreed to abide by the show rules. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry, vary the order or composition of, or cancel any event in this schedule at any time. Please note that entries are non-refundable.

Correct riding dress should be worn and hat with a fixed harness to a minimum standard of PAS 015 (2011) must be worn by riders at all times.

Judged under BD, however the Judges' decision is final. Riders may be asked to perform their tests up to 10 minutes before their allocated times.

The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructors and the organiser, officials and stewards.

Please ensure that dogs are kept on a lead at all times and that you have third party liability insurance for your dog and your horse to attend the site. Your horse must be up to date with their annual vaccinations to attend and we reserve the right to request to see their passport on the day.

Please use designated warm up area only (normally the indoor school). Do not stand on the track where others are riding and cause an obstruction. Please ride responsibly observing menage etiquette. Please do not re-enter the warm up arena once you have finished your test.

No lunging allowed on the show ground and no use of the other arenas to warm up for external riders.

All lorries and horse trailers to be parked in designated area on the large tarmac area opposite the main entrance. Parking can be restricted if the show is busy so please park close to the next horse box and considerately. Do not leave a horse unattended or tied up to a lorry/trailer, and all children under 16 years old must be supervised at all times.

Please tidy hay, droppings and mess from the parking area before leaving.
